Project Overview

The SSG team led a review of and update to Edmonton’s Community Energy Transition Strategy with detailed analysis on the magnitude of effort and resources required to achieve an outcome consistent with the Paris Agreement’s goal of a 2 degree limit to global warming. The resulting updated Energy Transition Strategy and investment plan provides a detailed investment and activity roadmap to support implementation, which includes technological pathways for new and existing buildings, transportation, energy storage and waste.
